COLDSNAP - 25.10.2005
Im Juli 2006 wird eine Edition herauskommen, die weder dem Ravnica-Block angehört, noch dem darauf folgenden. Der Name: Coldsnap Es werden 155 Karten drin sein: 65 commons, 50 uncommons, and 40 rares (auf Foils). Die Edition ist an Turnieren spielbar. Es sind auch Themendecks für die Edition geplant. Die Edition wird in allen üblichen Sprachen erhältlich sein.
RAVNICA - 05.08.2005
Ravinca: City of Guilds - das Release - Datum der neuen Edition wird am 7. Oktober 2005 sein. Das zweite Set wird dann Guildpact heissen und 165 Karten enthalten. Release von Guildpact ist der 3. Februar 2006.
Das dritte Set schliesslich wird Dissension heissen und natürlich wiederum 165 Karten enthalten.
Saviors of kamigawa - 30.04.2005
Am 3. Juni wird der Kamigawa Block mit dem Set SAVIORS OF KAMIGAWA (deutscher Name: Retter von Kamigawa) vervollständigt (Prerelease Events ab 21. Mai). Kartendetail: 165 Karten, 55 Rare | 55 Uncommon | 55 Common
9th Edition - 30.04.2005
Die 9th Edition wird ab 29. Juli 2005 erhältlich sein. Das 350 Karten umfassende Core Set enthält Reprints von anderen Sets. Neue Karten sind keine enthalten. Drin sein werden u.a. Serra Angel, Glorious Anthem, Blinding Angel, Mana Leak, Mahamoti Djinn, Grave Pact, Nightmare, Will-o'-the-Wisp, Shard Phoenix (SH), Elvish Champion, Elvish Piper, Llanowar Elves, Coat of Arms.
BETRAYERS of kamigawa - 19.01.2005
Das erste Erweiterungsset im Kamigawa Block erscheint am 4. Februar 2005 (Prerelease: 22. Januar). Das Set besteht aus 165 Karten (55 common, 55 uncommon, 55 rare). Unhinged - Nachfolger von Unglued - 26.07.2004
Der Nachfolger von Unglued heisst Unhinged, enthält 140 Karten und kommt am 19. November 2004.
In den 140 Karten sind auch 5 schwarzrandige Länder enthalten (ähnlich denjenigen bei Unglued). Das Set wird nur in englisch verfügbar sein.
Mirrodin - 12.09.2003
In Mirrodin werden einige neue Begriffe eingeführt. Hier eine Übersicht:
"Equipment" is a sub-type of artifact, and they enhance
creatures. Each Equipment has an "Equip cost" which is colorless
mana, and attaches the Equipment to target creature (as a sorcery). If an
equipped creature leaves play, the equipment remains in play and can be put
onto another creature. Official

"Affinity for artifacts" is a keyword that means the spell's
cost is reduced by one colorless mana for each artifact you control.
"Entwine" is similar to kicker - the instant or sorcery offers a
choice between two things... but if you pay the Entwine cost, you get to do
both of them.
"Imprint" is an ability on artifacts. When they come into play,
you remove a card from the game (from in play, your hand, the graveyard,
etc). That card is "imprinted" on the Artifact and affects how it

8th / Core Set - 14.04.2003
Die 8th Edition erhält einen neuen Namen. Anders als die vorangegegangenen Editions with nun der Nachfolger der 7th, der im Sommer 2003 erwartet wird, nicht einfach 8th genannt, sondern erhält mit Core Set eine neue Bezeichnung (Logo siehe nebenan).
